LEIDEN, THE NETHERLANDS (MARKET WIRE) Dutch biotechnology company Crucell N.V. (Euronext, NASDAQ: CRXL; Swiss Exchange: CRX) announced today that it has completed the purchase of Florida-based Berna Products Corp. (BPC) from Acambis plc (LSE: ACM) (NASDAQ: ACAM), and the consequential termination of the products distribution agreement between BPC and Crucell, for a total consideration of US$ 16.5 million (EUR 13 million).
