VANCOUVER, BC (MARKET WIRE) Ascendant Copper Corporation ("Ascendant" or the "Company") (TSX: ACX) announced today that the Company has initiated a 6,000 meter diamond drill program on its Chaucha copper/molybdenum porphyry project in Southern Ecuador.
