BROSSARD, CANADA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 10/12/2006 -- DIAGNOS inc. ("DIAGNOS" or the "Corporation") (
Over the last 12 months, the Natural Resources Division of DIAGNOS inc. has acquired 31 properties in the Province of Quebec deemed favorable for the exploration of gold, diamond, copper, and nickel. The acquisitions were completed as a result of the application of the Corporation's MCubiX data mining software suite and CARDS (Computer Aided Resource Detection Software) evaluation methodology run on both established mining camps and new mining areas of interest. The properties total 28,000 hectares (69,160 acres).
DIAGNOS has now established exploration partnership agreements for 12 of the 31 properties. Forecast exploration expenditure on these properties exceeds C$2.5M for the coming year. Partnership agreements are structured to share the rewards of potential discovery when MCubiX and CARDS are used in concert with established exploration protocols. DIAGNOS will earn NSR (Net Smelter Return) from 2-3% plus shares of the partners stock on each of the properties. DIAGNOS is currently evaluating additional properties for acquisition in Quebec, Ontario, the Dominican Republic and other countries to strengthen its exploration property portfolio.
The DIAGNOS' Natural Resources Division is a multidisciplinary team of professionals with expertise in computer science, mathematics, geology and geophysics that offers integrated mining and petroleum exploration solutions based on MCubiX and CARDS.
"We are very pleased with our growing exploration property strategy. Our proprietary CARDS application solution will allow our partners to accelerate exploration with a higher confidence level of potential discovery. We look forward to our partners commencing the drilling on the DIAGNOS targets." said Mr Andre Larente, President of DIAGNOS inc.
