Cash Minerals Ltd.: Cash Minerals Announces Drilling at Pedlar Uranium Project

Wed, 10 May 2006 5:00:00 PDT

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/10/2006 -- Cash Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:CHX) is pleased to announce that exploration crews have arrived at the Pedlar uranium property in western Yukon. Drilling is scheduled to begin in May and will consist of approximately 600 metres.

The geological setting of the Pedlar property closely resembles that of the former Midnite Mine in Washington State. Mineralization at the Midnite Mine is categorized as unconformity related. Unconformity-related deposits are known to be some of the world's richest and largest storehouse of high-grade uranium resources. "Mineral Deposit Profiles", published by B.C. Geological Survey states "Production and reserves prior to closing at the Midnite Mine are estimated at approximately 3.9 million tonnes grading 0.12% uranium" (Note: this published reserve may not conform to NI 43-101 standards).

Mr. Basil Botha, President and CEO of Cash Minerals Ltd., stated "In addition the drilling planned for Luminar and Igor properties in 2006, the Pedlar drill program has the potential to significantly enhance our uranium resource position in the Yukon. Similarities between Pedlar and the Midnite Mine, together with radiometric surveys and prospecting at Pedlar, suggest that significant uranium mineralization may be present".
