Kagel to the position Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all financial and investor relations activities. Mr. Kagel has been consulting for Supertex for the past 18 months on financial matters, devoting full-time efforts to Supertex for the past approximate 6 months.

Mr. Kagel joins Supertex with thirty years experience in financial management, business strategy, mergers and acquisitions and financial controls for both start-up and large global organizations. He has held senior financial positions in the semiconductor, electronic manufacturing services, disk storage and flat panel display industries. Mr. Kagel was Chief Financial Officer at Ultra Clean Holdings, Inc. and Sipex Corporation, both of which are publicly traded, and at Akashic Memories Corporation, a privately held corporation. He also was Vice President & Corporate Controller and Vice President, Global Tax, at Solectron Corporation. Mr. Kagel holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Brigham Young University. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
