DEVENTER, THE NETHERLANDS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 09/14/2006 -- GiraSolar, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GRSR) (FRANKFURT: L2I) is pleased to announce its subsidiary DutchSolar BV has supplied its first solar modules which were made in the United States.

The modules have subsequently been sold into the American market.

COO Koen Dirven of GiraSolar BV: "We are very pleased to have delivered the first 200 modules of the G536 type to USA clients. The G536 is a rugged 80Wp solar module, used mainly for off-grid applications. This is a new model for us, which is exclusively manufactured in the US for US clients. The off-grid market in the USA is traditionally very strong and we therefore consider the fast progress from design through production to sale an important step for our company in obtaining a market position with our American made products. It is also stepping stone for application of our larger products in grid-connected applications in the USA pending the recently started UL and IEC certification."
