NEW YORK, NY (MARKET WIRE) Apollo Investment Corporation (NASDAQ: AINV) announces that its Board of Directors has declared its second fiscal quarter dividend of $0.47 per share, payable on September 28, 2006 to shareholders of record as of September 21, 2006. The ex-dividend date is September 19, 2006. Dividends are paid from taxable earnings whose specific tax characteristics will be reported to shareholders on Form 1099
