NEWTON, MA (MARKET WIRE) PeerApp, Ltd., a pioneer in carrier-grade peer-to-peer (P2P) infrastructure solutions for Internet Service Providers has been awarded a key patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for technology that enables peer-to-peer content distribution and acceleration. The issued U.S. Patent No. 7,203,741 is for a "Method and system for accelerating receipt of data in a client to client network."
