CALGARY, ALBERTA (MARKET WIRE) TransAlta Corporation (TSX: TA) (NYSE: TAC) today declared a dividend of $0.25 per share on common shares payable Jan. 1, 2007 to shareholders of record at the close of business Dec. 1, 2006.
