MONTEREY, CA (MARKET WIRE) Century Aluminum Company (NASDAQ: CENX) announced today that Michelle Lair has been elected to succeed Daniel J. Krofcheck as treasurer, effective June 9, 2006. Mr. Krofcheck, who will remain with the company through year-end to assist with the transition, has chosen to pursue opportunities outside of Century.
