VICTORVILLE, CA (MARKET WIRE) Desert Community Bank (the "Bank") (NASDAQ: DCBK) today reported earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 of $1,852,000, as compared to $1,280,000 for the first quarter of 2005. The growth in earnings of $572,000 represents a 44.7% increase over the earnings reported for the first quarter of 2005. Diluted earnings per share for the quarter totaled $0.31, as compared to $0.22 in 2005.
